TerraWave's TWS series offers a range of high-quality, flexible coaxial cables designed for applications where standard hard-line transmission cables are impractical due to curves, bends, or twists. These cables are constructed with UV-resistant polyethylene jackets, ensuring durability and protection from harsh environmental conditions. They are suitable for various applications, including Wireless Local Loop (WLL), Global Positioning System (GPS), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISP), Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and mobile communications.

The TWS series includes several models, each tailored to specific needs:

  • TWS-195: Features a solid copper inner conductor with a diameter of 0.037 inches and a dielectric made of physical foam polyethylene measuring 0.110 inches. The outer conductor consists of bonded aluminum foil combined with a tinned copper braid, resulting in a nominal diameter of 0.139 inches. The overall jacket diameter is approximately 0.195 inches.

  • TWS-240: This model has a solid copper inner conductor with a diameter of 0.056 inches and a dielectric of physical foam polyethylene measuring 0.150 inches. The outer conductor is composed of bonded aluminum foil and a tinned copper braid, with a nominal diameter of 0.178 inches. The jacket diameter is about 0.240 inches.

  • TWS-400: Equipped with a copper-clad aluminum inner conductor of 0.108 inches in diameter and a dielectric of physical foam polyethylene measuring 0.285 inches. The outer conductor includes bonded aluminum foil and a tinned copper braid, with a nominal diameter of 0.320 inches. The jacket diameter is approximately 0.40 inches.

  • TWS-600: This variant features a copper-clad aluminum inner conductor with a diameter of 0.176 inches and a dielectric of physical foam polyethylene measuring 0.455 inches. The outer conductor consists of bonded aluminum foil and a tinned copper braid, with a nominal diameter of 0.492 inches. The jacket diameter is about 0.590 inches.

Each model is designed to provide low signal loss and high performance across a range of frequencies, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor installations. The cables are compatible with a wide variety of connectors, facilitating easy integration into existing systems.
